Five unhelpful things parents might say, when trying to support their children through their anxiety

Don't worry, I have the solution!

Having a child that is experiencing anxiety and worry, can cause parents to feel anxious and worried themselves.

It is our natural instinct to want to make our children feel better and as parents, we feel that we should have all the answers!.... So during those times when we don’t have them, it can lead to us feeling helpless and guilty.😒

This is not our fault, because we only know what we know…right?...Children don't come with an instruction manual, so we can easily get it wrong!🤦‍♂️

I have worked with parents for many years and I am a parent myself, so It is because of this that I developed the 'Anxiety & Worry In Children' programme. My aim is give parents both the knowledge and power, so they no longer need to feel helpless, or guilty and most importantly, they can help their child!😃
